    Fr. William L. DeArteaga,
author of Quenching the Spirit (Creation House, 1996)

I have known Geir Lie for over a decade and know of no Christian scholar who is more dedicated and meticulous in his work. His scholarship on Kenyon has been a great gift to the Church. I highly commend this work to every pastor, lay leader and any Christian who wishes to be informed on the origins and significance of Pentecostalism.

Joe McIntyre, President for Kenyon's Gospel Publishing Society
author of E.W. Kenyon and His Message of Faith. The True Story (Creation House, 1997)

Geir Lie’s work on E.W. Kenyon is a refreshing contrast to much of the misinformation about and misunderstanding of E.W. Kenyon’s teaching that has been previously published. Mr. Lie’s grasp of Kenyon’s theology enables him to critique Kenyon’s critics accurately and show what Kenyon was saying in the larger context of his overall teaching. Much misunderstanding of Kenyon has come from taking statements of his out of context and drawing erroneous conclusions. Lie’s analysis consistently avoids this error. I find myself consistently in agreement with Lie’s appraisal of both Kenyon and his critics. I would recommend Geir Lie’s work on Kenyon to anyone seriously interested in understanding what E.W. actually taught.

    Dr. Vinson Synan, Regent University

For many years Geir Lie has researched the life and ministry of E.W. Kenyon and his influence on the modern faith movement. His book, E.W. Kenyon: Cult Founder or Evangelical Minister? will be of great value to scholars and laymen alike who are interested in the progress and development of worldwide Pentecostalism. I highly recommend it.
